Darkest Day MP3

Here’s an MP3 of Darkest Day, a poppy little love song I wrote for Michelle a little while ago. I overdubbed a little mandolin for this one too (although I’m not sure I got it synched up quite right). it’s pretty short as it is, so perhaps I should add a verse or something? I like this one if only because it’s so unlike pretty much anything else I’ve done. it seems like it’s relatively easy to express angst, doubt, heartbreak and similar emotions in song, but why is it so hard to let joy come across successfully? so here’s my stab at a happy song.
